Improving Climate Change Resilience and Market Access through Digital Services

Introduction and Background

The report documents the digital solutions recommended to increase climate resilinece and market access through the implementation of the IFAD-funded Programme to Strengthen Smallholder Resilience (PSSR) in Burkina Faso.

The project proposed the following digital investments in Burkina Faso;

• Development and use digital agro-meteorological e-advisory services
• Support for creating, producing, validating, and disseminating agro-meteorological information content
• Development of an e-advisory service for extension services and front line agricultural workers
• Development of an interoperable national platform for sustainable land and water management
